Duties
- Main contact person for staff secondments (economic employer in Germany) and responsible for the proper implementation of shadow accounting, taking into account tax and social security aspects;
- Accompaniment of the staff secondment process from consultation, bundling, and support to implementation together with the responsible HR Business Partner as well as the contact person for the supervised multi-state workers;
- Support in the preparation of the proper monthly payroll for the ex-pats/im-pats as well as deputising for the HR colleague Payroll in case of absence;
- Checking taxes and social security for individual assignments;
- Contact person for questions regarding foreign taxation, hypotax, is and tax equalization as well as questions regarding social insurance and German collective bargaining regulations;
- Ensuring notifications to social insurance institutions and tax offices as well as compliance with obligations regarding storage and documentation;
- Carrying out smaller projects in payroll;
- Coordinating and carrying out onward debits and account clarification within the group;
- Contact person for supervised employees in all matters relating to payroll accounting.
Profile
- Completed commercial or tax training;
- Several years of relevant professional experience, especially in the payroll accounting of expatriate assignments and taxation as well as in the processing of personnel secondments, mainly from Germany;
- Very good knowledge of German and international social security;
- Very good SAP ERP HCM and MS Office skills;
- Reliable and structured way of working as well as self-initiative;
- Hands-on mentality, ability to work in a team, and flexibility as well as strong communication skills.
