
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner for procurement and cross-divisional functions, providing financial guidance and actionable insights
- Take ownership of key financial figures and core topics, including material cost changes, payment terms, operating expenses, and investments
- Analyze business development, derive recommendations for action, track measures, and coordinate planning and forecasting activities
- Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and support planning and extrapolation processes across central and local units
- Prepare target vs. actual analyses and develop clear recommendations for management
- Create reports and presentations for top management
- Support the development and continuous improvement of central procurement processes and tools
- Act as a key user for procurement tools, including user administration and optimization
- Participate in cross-functional projects and take responsibility for sub-project management
- Perform SAP and BW analyses, manage large datasets, and deliver ad-hoc evaluations (e.g., supplier claims, purchasing volumes)
- Serve as a backup for the corresponding role at headquarters
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a focus on Controlling, Production, or Logistics
- Several years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in plant controlling or similar functions is an advantage
- Solid background in material and logistics controlling; project management experience is desirable
- Experience with SAP R/3 (CO and MM modules), SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Very good written and spoken English
- Good German skills are desirable
- Strong analytical and structured approach with the ability to work independently
- Results-oriented mindset combined with creativity and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership
- Confident personality with the ability to manage stakeholders with strong and differing opinions
- Expert level (approximately 2–5 years of professional experience)
